Why do I have no line on multiple telephone sets?

Confirm that the modem is online, if it is, remove all telephone sets connected to the modem.

Call your telephone number from a mobile and check that you can hear a ringing tone.

  • If there is a ringing tone, the line is working but telephone set is not being reached. Replace your telephone set and check again.
  • If no ringing tone is present, disconnect the wire from TEL 1 on the modem and call your telephone to confirm if there is now a ringing tone.

If, after this, a ringing tone is active, eliminate or replace the splitter or adapter you connected with the TEL 1 port on the modem. After, connect a different telephone set and check your line again.
