Frequently Asked Questions
- I already have a SIM, how can I ask for an eSIM?
Firstly, ensure that your phone is compatible with eSIM technology.
The most convenient method to replace your existing SIM is by logging into MyMelita and selecting My Services, followed by the phone number for which you wish to replace the SIM.
Please be aware that upon requesting your eSIM, your current physical SIM will be immediately deactivated, resulting in a loss of all connectivity. This means that until the new eSIM is successfully added to your phone, you will be unable to make or receive calls, send SMS, or access any data.
It is recommended to initiate this process when you have access to WiFi or other internet connectivity options on your phone.
Keep in mind that this process is irreversible. Once you request your eSIM, your physical SIM will be permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated or reused. You can remove your SIM from your phone once the replacement is complete.
Contribute to environmental protection by responsibly disposing of your deactivated physical SIM card as electronic waste at the nearest recycling facility.
- I already have an eSIM can I transfer it to another phone?
No, it is not possible to transfer an eSIM to another phone. It’s important to note that each eSIM can only be used once, and subsequent transfers to different devices are not supported. Please make sure to activate your eSIM on the specific device you intend to use it with.

- Can I use more than one eSIM in my phone?

To determine the capacity of your device, access the Settings on your phone or refer to the device specifications. This will provide information on the number of eSIMs that can be added to your phone.
