Smart Cloud – Backup as a Service 6 months free promotion

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable in respect of the Smart Cloud – Backup as a Service 6 month free promotion, (hereinafter referred to as “the Offer”) being provided to Melita business Clients (“the Client”) by Melita Limited (“Melita”). Access to and use of the Offer is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.   1. The Offer shall commence on the 1st January 2026 and will continue thereafter unless and until it is terminated by Melita.
  2. This Offer is available to new and existing Clients entering into a 24 Month Term agreement with Melita for a fixed business internet service.
  3. Customers subscribing to the following Bundles may opt in to receive the Smart Cloud – Backup as a Service (the “Service”) free of charge for the first six (6) months, as follows:
    1. Customers subscribing to Melita Business Flexi Duo M or L, or Business Flexi M or L, shall benefit from 500 GB of Smart Cloud – Backup as a Service; and
    1. Customers subscribing to Melita Business Flexi Duo XL or XXL, or Business Flexi XL or XXL, shall benefit from 1 TB of Smart Cloud – Backup as a Service.
  4. Following the expiry of the initial six‑month period, the Service shall automatically renew into a twenty‑four (24) month term (“24‑Month Term”), unless terminated by the Client prior to the end of the initial period. Upon commencement of the 24‑Month Term, the applicable monthly charges shall apply as stipulated in the Order Form signed by the Client.
  5. Clients subscribing to the Offer shall also be bound by the terms of the Smart Cloud Agreement. In the event of any conflict between the Smart Cloud Agreement and these Terms, these Terms shall prevail.
  6. Any activation, installation or other service‑related charges shall apply in accordance with Charges stipulated in the Order Form.
  7. During the initial six‑month period, the Client may terminate the Smart Cloud service at any time, without penalties and without advance notice. Should the Client terminate the Smart Cloud service prior to the end of the 24‑Month Term, Client shall be liable to pay the applicable remaining fees. Upon the lapse of the 24 Month Term, the Service(s) shall be automatically renewed for further periods of twelve (12) calendar months each (“Renewal Period”), unless either Party gives to the other not less than three (3) months written notice prior to the expiry of the 24 Month Term of its intention not to enter into any Renewal Period. Provided further that the Renewal Period may be terminated at the end of each subsequent Renewal Period by either Party by giving not less than three (3) months due notice in writing to the other Party prior to the date of termination of the then applicable Renewal Period. Should the Client terminate the agreement prior to the lapse of the then applicable Renewal Period Client shall be liable to pay the applicable fees up to the end of the then applicable Renewal Period.
  8. Personal data shall be processed in accordance with Melita’s Data Protection Notice.
